NJHA Partners With Concuity to Help New Jersey Hospitals Improve Their Revenue Cycle

Princeton, N.J., June 1, 2005 - The New Jersey Hospital Association (NJHA) and Concuity have entered into a joint marketing agreement that will promote a solution set to help hospitals in New Jersey increase cash flow and optimize payer contract yield. Concuity’s ClearContracts™ is a Web-based solution that identifies and corrects payer non-compliance issues within the contract revenue cycle. Concuity also provides Revenue Recovery Services in combination with ClearContracts to accelerate recovery from underpaid claims. NJHA Vice President of Business Development Guy Evans sees this partnership as an opportunity for New Jersey hospitals to realize reimbursement for services that are traditionally written off due to underpayments, denials and other sources of revenue leakage. “Concuity’s user-friendly, Web-based contract management system can provide tremendous benefits to our members, “We believe Concuity’s solution set is truly unique and will enable our members to accelerate cash flow and maximize contract yield.” Robert E. Watson, president and CEO of Concuity commented, “Millions of dollars get written off needlessly each year due to contract discrepancies. Concuity enables hospitals to be proactive and actually prevent revenue loss, not just recover it after the fact. We’re enthusiastic about our partnership with the New Jersey Hospital Association and we look forward to helping NJHA members improve their bottom line.”
